============================================================ Shadow Geyser 1 Get ready for the first place where you get random battles!!!! OOOHHH YEAH!!! DIG IT, WOO WOO!!! As soon as you get in, go up and then left, then down for a Baloo Leaf... you won't have to if you stocked up in the store. Now go left and then up, and keep going till you see a switch, hit it and then go back to the wall you saw earlier on, it's gone. There's another switch behind it, so hit it. Go back down and left until you see a new path that opened because of the switch you just hit. Keep going and then head up until you're at a four-way intersection. Go left if you want to get a shield orb and then right and find the switch there, then go back to the intersection and head up and hit the switch there. Go back to the intersection and head right again. Keep going until you find another switch. Hit it, and it does... nothing??? Go left to solve this problem, get the bone out of the grate, and go back to the switch that did nothing and hit it again. Now go back to where you found the bone and it'll be gone. Go through and you'll find the Core Stone. Get ready for your first boss battle, Togoth. Okay, not first, since you've faught Korg, but he doesn't count. ============================================================ Shadow Geyser 2 This one'll take a little more thinking than the last one. And one thing to really watch out for if you're unprepared: BLACKAGOVOS AND SHRYQUES!!! Their Prism move won't only make your attacks do nothing to them, but damage your own creatures!!! By this time you *should* have a creature with Maul, the starting Furok, or a Tusk Bwisp etc, you'll need one unless you've got a Leaf Chogo, or if you're insane and got yourself a Leaf Hyren by this point. Anyway, enough rambling, on with the guide... This one is very confusing... very very confusing... you have to keep on hitting the switches and going back and see when new paths have opened. Basically you have to hit the 4 switches in the 4 wells to open up the core of the geyser, which from that point can be accessed from any of the wells. Thunderquake and Cave In are also in this geyser... be sure to grab at least Cave In - it will help you in battles against hyrens and magi. Once you've gotten Cave In and if you want, Thunderquake, go fight Ogar in the geyser's core. She hissssesssss at you and doesn't have a very big vocabulary, so just take down her and her Chaos Jiles with one of your maulers or a Leaf Chogo / Hyren(if you're really insane and have no life) ============================================================ |
